Hi guys, it's been a while! We've been so busy getting ready for the holidays, training for & running a half marathon in Vegas, and planning our June wedding! Some new prints we bought on Etsy for our living room. By another artist local to Portland: Hadley Hutton. It seems that we're definitely attracted to bird illustrations.
In doing research for a project I am working on, I have fallen in love with vintage fabric (particularly 1970's). I think all of these images are from the Vintage Fabric Flickr group which I happily joined!

My friend and I spent quite a long time going through a huge basket of these super sweet fabric dolls. Trying to narrow it down and choose our favorites was tough (especially for a couple of indecisive ladies). Good thing the shop is a few hours away, otherwise I probably would have the whole basket by now!

I always forget how absolutely peaceful looking at the ocean is, until I'm actually in front of it. After a quick trip to the beach, I am coming back refreshed and ready to start new projects. My friend and I got to know some of the locals during our visit. . . this is Murth! She showed us around Seaside, and we couldn't have asked for a better tour guide.
